STREAM ANGEL - Return of the Fair Gardener

More superb tosh from the Scottish genius, Stream Angel. Aimless, drifty, sample collage with some grooves, some words and some psychedelic daydreams. New age but gritty.

How Rubbish Am I?

More rubbish than you deserve, if anyone is reading this! I promise to post when I get back from Xmas in Plymouth. I have plenty of stuff to put on here, so hopefully I will do better in future. Happy Holidays!

Also wanted to say, I watched Eurovision last week, and I thought this one should have won it.

The sound quality is quite crap, but I hope you get the idea.

Lazy Bones...

That's me. I need to get some uploading done!

Tomorrow... I'll do it tomorrow.

meanwhile, here's a picture - It's not me...

CRONUS DEI - Kylie Productions 1993

A crunchy little collage of postal sounds from the marvelous Kylie of Joe Morris. 45 mins of sheer dingle-dongle-ness

A1 Waste Paper Co Ltd - SINGLE EYE

From 1992: Michael Leigh, Mail Artist and general wonderful bloke sent a load of tapes of stuff he'd got at charity shops and jumble sales to an American radio station: this is the result. 60 minutes of fun and frolics, complete with vinyl crackleness.

Also, check out his blogs and things.

for a start. He's got others, check out his profile (dude!)
(and don't write to Lambeth Walk, Michael doesn't live there anymore!)

Here's my new album

Make of it what you will. It's the usual rubbish. I'll post another tape up here soon, promise. I'm going back to Rapidshare for a bit, to see how it goes...

Tripod Sardine #1

From my ongoing, never to be completed album:

Tripod Sardine, The Truth About Futurism Parts 1-1298764

Use as you see fit. Fold, Spindle, Mutilate.

Another Podcast Thing

This one's more avant-garde. Let me know what you think... If anyone ever actually looks at this flippin' blog!

A lot of the stuff in this cast comes from this superb and completely brilliant blog.

Something like a Podcast

Thought I'd have a go at making a sort of podcast. There's no talking on here, just music. I basically just threw together 20 something minutes of music that I'd downloaded from the Net, using Goldwave, and saved it as a mono ogg. Give it a go.

Berlin 1987

In February 1987 I spent 2 weeks with friends in Kreuzberg, Berlin. My friends had a tape recorder, so I recorded some things. I think their tape deck was part of their stereo system, so I didn't get to leave the house with it. This means I have no record of the exciting world of avant-garde art, street events or anarcho-happenings that were going on. Just some silly conversation and the abuse of a zither. A document.

Another fine zine from Herb S... More chaotic lay-out and sleazy reviews from 1986

BEARD TAX - Alter The Fabric

Bizarre shenanigans from Stream Angel, Phil Smith, Paul Harrison and Simon Morris. Broadcast on Leeds Student Radio in 1997, and then edited down to 90mins of craziness. Enjoy.
